There are only 11 institutions recognized as meeting quality standards by international education quality accreditation organizations, including the National Economics University. The country has nearly 2,000 accredited training programs, of which nearly 600 are internationally accredited. The National Economics University is one of the few schools with many internationally accredited programs.
Mr. Huynh Van Chuong also said that university accreditation brings some great benefits such as autonomy, self-determination of enrollment targets, self-determination of tuition fees. With international accreditation, universities also have other benefits such as convenience in international integration, easy to achieve mutual recognition of diplomas and certificates between Vietnamese schools and international schools.
