From the mainland to remote islands, emulation movements, training, combat readiness, caring for the lives of soldiers and people... have become practical actions to celebrate the country's major holidays.
Established on July 1, 2025, on the basis of the island district in the former easternmost part of the Fatherland - Truong Sa Special Zone ( Khanh Hoa province) also jubilantly joined in the atmosphere of the whole country towards the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2.
From the remote coastal border areas of the Fatherland, the people and officers and soldiers of Brigade 146 - Naval Region 4 are upholding their sense of responsibility and determination to fulfill their tasks well, firmly protecting the sovereignty of Truong Sa archipelago.
As for Brigade 146, identifying this as a special political event in 2025, the Emulation and Reward Council of Brigade 146 launched a peak emulation campaign with the theme "Raising the August red flag - Competing to win 3 first place" .
The goal is to educate and propagate so that cadres and soldiers have a deeper understanding of the stature and historical value of the August Revolution and the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam; and to affirm the leadership role of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh in the cause of national liberation.
On all the islands from Phan Vinh, Da Tay, Son Ca, Nam Yet to Truong Sa, Sinh Ton, Co Lin, Len Dao..., everywhere is filled with flags, slogans, and billboards celebrating the big holiday.
Each officer and soldier clearly determined in training, ready to fight, firmly grasped the plans and countermeasures in the air and at sea, not to be passive or surprised in any situation.
The army and people here are always united, united, and support each other in all work, so that each island is truly a "steel fortress", each soldier is a "living milestone" in the middle of the ocean.
Colonel Pham Van Tho, Political Commissar of Brigade 146, affirmed that promoting the emulation movement and making achievements to celebrate the country's important events is not only a responsibility, but also an honor and pride. Officers and soldiers are determined to build the island "Strong in defense, good in lifestyle, beautiful in landscape, exemplary in military-civilian solidarity", contributing to building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern unit.
From the beginning of Truong Sa, the will, spirit and determination of the officers and soldiers have always been upheld. They are the core force protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands, and at the same time the support for the people to confidently go out to sea and stick to the sea.
Looking forward to the National Day on September 2, the military and people of Truong Sa special zone always uphold the spirit of solidarity, vigilance, high combat readiness, holding their guns firmly, and firmly defending Truong Sa - each officer, soldier, and every resident on the island is a "living milestone", an impregnable fortress in the middle of the ocean, worthy of the trust and love of the Party, State and people.
These days, the singing at the "head of the waves and wind" in the programs "Echoes of Truong Sa soldiers" , "Singing on distant islands" , the exchange "Army and people with one will" ... have shown an optimistic spirit, love of life, the desire to contribute is aroused, creating strong motivation in each officer and soldier.
