Tran Phu Secondary School organizes "Folk Culture Festival"

On the morning of February 3, Tran Phu Secondary School, Phu Ly City organized the “Folk Culture Festival” with the participation of thousands of students, teachers and parents. The activity created a close connection between family - school and society, arousing and promoting traditional values in the national cultural life for students.

The festival gave students, teachers and parents the opportunity to enjoy cultural and artistic performances with traditional folk sounds and colors such as folk songs, traditional opera, drama... performed by students of all grades of the school. Once again, traditional poetry activities were organized through exchange activities, poetry, word response, poetry based on pictures, calligraphy...

The highlight of the festival is the rural market stalls selling agricultural products, recreating the cultural space imbued with the traditional colors of Tet of the Vietnamese people. Students also experience and participate in folk games such as tug of war and word puzzles, demonstrating the physical and spiritual strength of the Vietnamese people in the process of building and defending the country.

Speaking at the Folk Culture Festival, Ms. Do Thi Thanh Hai, Principal of Tran Phu Secondary School, said: The festival not only contributes to creating a joyful atmosphere for teachers and students of the school to welcome Tet, but is also an opportunity for students to learn and experience traditional cultural activities of Vietnamese people every Tet holiday such as making banh chung, going to the Tet market, asking for Tet parallel sentences, opening the writing... This is a way to create a space for students to play and entertain after many months of stressful studying, an opportunity for schools and families to connect with each other in carrying out common educational tasks. The school's cultural festival contributes to preserving and promoting folk cultural values, educating patriotic traditions, national pride, creating a healthy cultural environment for teachers, students and parents.
