According to the US media, Lac Hong 900 LX is a distinct step forward for VinFast compared to the popular car models that have been launched. This product is positioned for businessmen and officials who need to travel absolutely safely but still want to experience luxury. The car meets VPAM VR7 standards - a high level of certification for bulletproof and explosion-proof capabilities.
In terms of design, the Lac Hong 900 LX still retains the imposing SUV style based on the VF 9 platform but has been refined to have its own mark. The exterior stands out with a newly designed chrome grille, many gold-plated details on the door handles, and the hood logo. Inside is a luxurious space with premium leather, wood paneling, and gold-plated accents.
Both the regular and armored versions use a 123 kWh battery from CATL. The standard version has 402 horsepower and 620 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds. Meanwhile, the armored version has an increased output of 455 horsepower but takes 9.8 seconds to reach 100 km/h due to the added weight from the armor.
International media commented that the appearance of Lac Hong 900 LX shows that VinFast wants to assert its position in the high-end segment, not just stopping at popular electric vehicles. This can also be a choice worth considering for customers who especially value safety in addition to convenience.
