Self-reflection and self-correction at Division 312

Implementing the direction of the Party Committee of Division 312, Army Corps 1 on organizing the thematic activity of "self-reflection, self-correction" (from the Party cell to the Party Committee of the Division), from the beginning of 2022 until now, the Party cell of the Propaganda Department, Division 312 has spent time implementing the thematic activity of "self-reflection, self-correction" integrated into the monthly Party cell activities.

Lieutenant Colonel Le Van Vu, Head of the Propaganda Department of Division 312, said: “With the spirit of speaking the truth, speaking frankly, and speaking everything about oneself, each cadre and party member speaks up about their own shortcomings. The secretary, deputy secretary, and committee members do it first, then the party members do it. At the end of the conference, the party cell secretary concludes, orients awareness, ideology, responsibility, and determines the direction for cadres and party members.” Currently, the thematic activity of “self-reflection and self-correction” in the Party Committee of Division 312 has spread widely. Cadres and party members always uphold the spirit of self-reflection and self-correction, promptly overcoming limitations and shortcomings in work and life.

Colonel Nguyen Van Tan, Political Commissar of Division 312, said: “Division 312 is a fully-equipped unit with the central task of training and combat readiness. Stemming from the significance and importance of studying and following Uncle Ho and implementing Resolution No. 847-NQ/QUTW of the Central Military Commission on promoting the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, resolutely fighting against individualism in the new situation; the Division Party Committee directed the concretization of the contents and criteria for promoting the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers into the program of activities. Many new and creative models in propaganda and education of the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers have created strong changes in the awareness and actions of cadres and soldiers.”

To propagate and educate the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, Division 312 has flexibly applied many diverse and rich forms such as: Through party cell activities, youth union activities; young officer seminars, competitions for reporters, propagandists, good political lecturers, and current affairs talks. During the 2 years of implementing Resolution No. 847, the Division organized many seminars with the theme "promoting the tradition of Uncle Ho's soldiers, wiping out individualism"; legal knowledge contests in the form of dramatization... Many contents were chosen by the Corps to do first and were highly appreciated by superiors. The Division effectively implemented models such as: "Uncle Ho's teachings on this day in history", "One law each week, one legal question each day"; "Savings and spending fund for tomorrow's career"... The models focus on education, guiding actions on exemplary role, responsibility, discipline, and order for cadres and party members, thereby creating positive changes.

As evidenced in the task of fighting the Covid-19 pandemic, many comrades put aside their family matters to volunteer to go to the South to prevent and fight the pandemic. Having just returned from the epidemic center, they actively participated in fighting forest fires in the area. Or, at the 2022 International Military Sports (Army Games), Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Minh Duc, Deputy Regiment Commander and Chief of Staff of Regiment 165 (Division 312, Corps 1) was assigned to be in charge and coach the team participating in the "Accident Zone" Competition. In difficult training conditions, Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Minh Duc made efforts and creativity with the team to overcome challenges and win the Gold Medal of the competition. Notably, the athletes of Division 312 also broke 2 Army Games records, bringing the image of the Vietnam People's Army to a higher level in the international arena...

With effective methods, cadres and party members of Division 312 always promote the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, demonstrate the spirit of overcoming difficulties, and successfully complete tasks. Up to now, 100% of cadres and party members have a good awareness of the position, meaning, role, and importance of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style, and promoting the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers. Units within the division are always united, unified in will and action; the morale and sense of responsibility of cadres and party members in performing tasks are raised; democracy is promoted and expanded; contributing to building the Division Party Committee to excellently complete tasks, agencies and units to be strong in all aspects, "exemplary, typical", and excellently complete all assigned tasks.
