Arbitrarily transferring a school to another school in Kien Giang has resulted in a suspension from work.

On August 29, a source from Vinh Thuan District Party Committee said that they had directed the People's Committee of this district regarding the case of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong - Principal of Town Secondary School. The reason: Mr. Phong arbitrarily transferred the school's facilities to Vinh Thuan Town Primary & Secondary School (old) without the opinion of the District People's Committee, causing bad public opinion. At the same time, they directed to urgently conduct an inspection of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong's responsibilities and have specific conclusions. If there are any violations, they will be handled according to current regulations.

The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee requested to stop the transfer of the Town Secondary School (transfer of cadres, civil servants, teachers, staff, students and facilities) in Vinh Dong 1 ward, Vinh Thuan town to the Vinh Thuan Town Primary & Secondary School (old) in Vinh Phuoc 2 ward, Vinh Thuan town. Because the recent implementation process was not in accordance with the procedure, the preparation time was not guaranteed and there was no opinion from the District People's Committee, causing negative public opinion and low consensus among cadres, teachers, and parents.
