The list of 5 candidates whose 2023 civil service exam results for the Central Inspection Commission were canceled includes: Phung Phuong An (born 2001, in Nghe An); Than Trong Tuan Anh (born 1996, in Thua Thien Hue); Nguyen Thi Thu Thanh (born 1997, in Bac Giang ); Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy (born 1997, in Thanh Hoa) and Ha Thi Thu Trang (born 1995, in Phu Tho).
Among these, 2 cases submitted applications to stop participating in the recruitment exam, namely candidates Phung Phuong An and Nguyen Thi Thu Thanh.
The remaining three cases were due to failure to meet standards and conditions regarding records and background.

According to the Central Inspection Committee , the cancellation of the civil servant exam results of the five candidates was based on Decree No. 140/2017 on policies to attract and create sources of cadres from excellent graduates and young scientists; Decree No. 138/2020 on recruitment, use and management of civil servants.
Previously, the Central Inspection Committee announced the recruitment of 25 civil servants into the specialist category, including 19 positions to work at departments and units in the Hanoi area and 6 equally divided positions to work at Departments Area V (Da Nang City), Area VII (Ho Chi Minh City), Area VIII (Can Tho City).
Candidates, according to the requirements of the Central Inspection Committee, are excellent university graduates from domestic or foreign higher education institutions, whose diplomas and certificates are recognized according to the provisions of law; have excellent academic and training results in all years of university study, and are within the prescribed age.
In addition, candidates taking the exam must meet a number of other criteria.
The 2023 civil servant recruitment exam was opened by the Central Inspection Commission in early November 2023, with 2 rounds.
In round 1, the Recruitment Council considers academic and research results (if any) and the prescribed standards. As a result, the Recruitment Council selected 18 qualified candidates who passed this round.
In round 2, candidates participate in an interview about their professional qualifications and skills according to the requirements of the job position to be recruited and some other related content.
