The Nghe Tinh Soviet was the first general rehearsal for the victory of the August Revolution of 1945, one of the most typical pages in the "golden history" of the Communist Party of Vietnam ; a symbol of the strength of the worker-peasant alliance, of the steadfast, indomitable spirit and the soaring spirit of the people of Nghe Tinh.
Woven into the achievements of the Nghe Tinh Soviet were the sacrifices and dedication of blood and youth of thousands of soldiers in the heroic Soviet homeland. Over the past 95 years, the echoes and spirit of the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement have continued to be a source of great encouragement and strength.
The activities were organized to affirm the historical values, cultural traditions, revolution and cultural identity of Nghe An, and at the same time pay tribute to and honor the generations of predecessors who have devoted and sacrificed their lives in the cause of building and defending the country, especially the great contributions of the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement 1930-1931.
Highlights of the program include the flower and incense offering ceremony at the Nghe Tinh Soviet relics; the ceremony to receive the Certificate of special national relic ranking "Places marking the Nghe Tinh Soviet Movement"; the opening of the Nghe Tinh Soviet Exhibition House; the launch of the "Soviet Fire" night experience show; the opening of the "Aspiration for Freedom" thematic exhibition; a discussion with relatives of revolutionary veterans and Nghe Tinh Soviet soldiers, and many traditional education programs for the younger generation.
The highlight is the commemorative art program taking place at 7:00 p.m. on September 12 at the Nghe An - Soviet Nghe Tinh Museum. This is a unique combination of traditional art (opera, dance) and modern 3D mapping technology, staged in four parts: Historical context, Movement development, Achievements and significance, Continuing the story of peace. Through music, opera and mapping projection, the scene of the country's loss, the misery under colonial rule, and the resilient fighting tradition of the people of Nghe Tinh will be recreated.
In particular, the opera class "Footprints of the Fire Starter" depicted the revolutionary climax from Vinh - Ben Thuy spreading throughout Nghe An and Ha Tinh, associated with the affirmation of President Ho Chi Minh in his letter to the Communist International: "Nghe Tinh is truly worthy of the red title". In addition, visitors can visit more than 16,000 artifacts, images, and precious documents at the Museum, displayed according to the historical flow: Background - development - achievements - significance of the movement. The exhibition space helps the public admire original artifacts, watch documentaries, and listen to stories from the past.
Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An shared: “The joy is multiplied for the homeland of the Soviet Union when the historical site “Places marking the Nghe Tinh Soviet Movement (1930-1931)” in Nghe An has just been ranked as a special national relic by the Prime Minister according to Decision No. 1959/QD-TTg. This is an event of great significance, affirming the historical and cultural value of the movement, and at the same time creating more motivation for today's generation to preserve and promote the precious heritage of their ancestors”.
According to Ms. Hanh, “through this art program and series of commemorative activities, history is not only vividly recreated but also touches the emotions, arousing the pride and sense of responsibility of today's generation. In particular, the application of modern technology such as 3D mapping will help young people approach history in a new and more attractive form. With the combination of history and modern technology, “Soviet Fire” is not only an art performance, but also a journey back to the roots, helping viewers, especially the young generation, better understand the heroic revolutionary tradition of their homeland Nghe An”.
