To date, 153/164 hospitals in the area have put electronic medical records into operation, reaching a rate of more than 93% of the entire system.
Some public units facing resource difficulties have been supported by a shared electronic medical record platform, helping to synchronize data, connect the City's medical data warehouse, and serve administration and in-depth analysis.
In the coming period, Ho Chi Minh City will expand electronic medical records to all medical examination and treatment facilities, complete centralized data warehouses, promote the application of artificial intelligence, and move towards creating electronic health records for 100% of the population, aiming to form a smart medical ecosystem, serving the goal of building a modern, livable city.
