Speaking to a reporter from the Lao Dong Newspaper on the morning of June 11, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dam, Chairman of the Vietnam Computerized Lottery One Member Co., Ltd. ( Vietlott ), said that in the drawing on May 9, Vietlott determined that there were 2 tickets winning the Mega 6/45 lottery Jackpot with a total value of 78 billion VND. Accordingly, each ticket won 39 billion VND.

One of the two owners of the winning ticket is Mr. NXH, from Hanoi . Through contact and checking personal information, Vietlott confirmed that Mr. NXH is in the age group from 70 to under 80. He often buys 5-10 tickets per day with many different lottery products and considers playing Vietlott's lottery as a hobby of old age.

"Compared to older people, it is noteworthy that Mr. NXH has a very youthful style. For example, when he came to receive the prize, he wore jeans and a T-shirt. This may make public opinion suspect that Mr. NXH is not the Jackpot winner" - Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dam said.

According to Mr. Dam, after checking the lottery business data system and personal records, Vietlott correctly identified Mr. NXH as one of the two winners of the Mega 6/45 lottery Jackpot prize in the drawing on May 9 with a value of 39 billion VND. On May 22, Vietlott held an award ceremony for Mr. NXH.

Regarding Vietlott lottery tickets continuously winning Jackpot prizes, Mr. Dam said that Vietlott is distributing tickets through two channels: terminals and phone applications. To date, Vietlott has 6,624 terminals at points of sale, covering 63 provinces and cities. Regarding the phone distribution channel, Vietlott recorded more than 3 million accounts participating in the lottery.

Recently, when the Jackpot of Mega 6/45 lottery and Jackpot 1, Jackpot 2 of Power 6/55 lottery have not been won, the cumulative value of these prizes has increased very high, stimulating people to buy more tickets.
