Vinh Long starts construction of road connecting key industrial parks and clusters

Delegates performed the project groundbreaking ceremony.

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Ho Thi Hoang Yen, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Minh Dung, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; and leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

The project is invested by the Provincial Traffic Project Management Board, implemented in the period of 2023 - 2026. This is one of the key projects of the province, of important political , economic and social significance, contributing to concretizing the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress, and at the same time is a project to welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Construction units performed the groundbreaking ceremony to launch the project.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Truc Son emphasized that the DT.DK.08 route plays a strategic role, connecting industrial parks and clusters with ports, bridges and key economic zones. When completed, the route will: contribute to reducing transportation costs, shortening the time of goods circulation; create favorable conditions for businesses, attract more domestic and foreign investment capital; improve travel conditions, contribute to the formation of satellite urban areas, improve the quality of people's lives; help strengthen connectivity, consolidate regional defense potential.

Provincial leaders requested investors and construction units to focus on human resources, ensure progress, quality and safety of the project, and meet expectations of socio-economic development associated with sustainable social security.
