Hop Thanh Commune inaugurated 7 "Great Unity" houses for poor households

On the afternoon of July 24, Hop Thanh commune held the inauguration ceremony of 7 "Great Unity" houses for poor households in 2025.

This is a project to welcome the Party Congress of Hop Thanh commune, term 2025 - 2030.

Among the 7 families with housing difficulties who were supported to build "Great Solidarity" houses, 1 household was supported with 50 million VND, the rest were supported with 60 million VND/house. The funding source came from the "For the Poor" Fund of Lao Cai province and city (formerly), the city's Red Cross Association (formerly), and the Agricultural Bank, Cam Duong branch.

In addition, associations, organizations, and villagers help with labor to dismantle old houses, transport construction materials, etc.

Provided funding to support 7 households to build "Great Unity" houses.

To complete the program of eliminating temporary houses and building houses for poor households, near-poor households and households with special housing difficulties in Hop Thanh commune in 2025, the commune has established a Steering Committee, reviewed the number of requests for the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at higher levels to consider support and developed a plan to call for help from philanthropists and the community.

Through review, in 2025, in Hop Thanh commune, there are 21 poor households, 243 near-poor households, of which 7 are near-poor households and households in difficulty with the need to build new houses.

The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune is the standing body of the Steering Committee and has called on cadres, people, and party members in the commune to support funds and materials such as doors, bricks, tiles, etc. to help remove temporary houses for some households that are more difficult than others, and at the same time organize construction supervision, acceptance, and handover to ensure the set progress.
