Verifying the case of a female 11th grade student being beaten and hospitalized

An 11th grade female student in Vinh city, Nghe An was asked out to talk by a senior at the same school, then beaten up by a group of people, forcing her to be hospitalized for treatment.

On the evening of March 27, information from the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An province said that the department had asked the principals of two high schools, Ha Huy Tap and Huynh Thuc Khang, in Vinh city, to report the incident of students fighting.

Initial information from Ha Huy Tap High School, stemming from a small conflict at school, at noon on March 26, a female student of class 12D5 made an appointment with student THMN - a student of class 11 - to go to Vinh Tan lake area, Vinh Tan ward to "talk".

The group of 12th grade female students had 5 people, while the group of victims had only 2 people, all of whom were students at Ha Huy Tap High School.

When arriving at the meeting place, N. was immediately beaten by the group of seniors. The victim suffered facial injuries and had to be hospitalized.

Mr. Cao Thanh Bao - the school principal - said that 6 students involved in the fight were temporarily suspended from school to work with the police.

After the police have concluded, the school will establish a disciplinary council to handle the matter.

In the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year, a female student in class 12D5 was temporarily suspended from school for one week for participating in another fight.

In addition to Ha Huy Tap High School, also on March 26, at Huynh Thuc Khang High School, there was a fight between students. According to two clips circulating on social media, three male students holding sticks, broomsticks... beat each other up in the middle of the classroom hallway and then out into the school yard.

Huynh Thuc Khang High School leaders said the three students in the clip are 11th grade boys studying in the same class. The police are currently investigating the incident.
