In the context of the law allowing the establishment of workers' organizations in enterprises, many international organizations lack goodwill to attract and incite workers to commit violations of the law, or to commit acts of disturbance and sabotage. Organizing a workshop is of great significance to discuss fully and comprehensively the issue to propose solutions and recommend models for the Trade Union to join hands with the Police and society to build a safe environment to help workers feel secure, dedicated, and attached to the enterprise.

At the workshop, delegates presented many urgent issues today, such as: The problem of using high technology to "pickpocket" workers; The reality of black credit surrounding workers and laborers; raising vigilance and preventing fires and explosions in boarding houses.

Solutions to combat high-tech crimes of pickpocketing workers; expanding boarding house security from "Self-managed groups of workers' boarding houses"; the role of trade unions in preventing crimes and social evils among workers...

According to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hien - Editor-in-Chief of Lao Dong Newspaper, the seminar focused on groups of risks that could happen to workers and laborers. First is the risk of getting caught up in social evils, especially black credit; second is the risk of losing property; third is the risk of epidemics; fourth is the risk of fire, explosion, and injury; fifth is the risk of abuse and violence.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hien affirmed that the presentations have provided highly practical solutions. Through this workshop, workers can recognize potential risks, and trade unions and management agencies will have more practical solutions to help workers and laborers feel secure in their work and production.
