Handling of Tang ki sinh medicinal herbs that do not meet quality standards

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Thanh Hoa Department of Health has just issued a document requesting businesses and users of medicinal herbs in the province and units and localities to handle batches of Tang ki sinh medicinal herbs that do not meet quality standards.

Previously, the Ho Chi Minh City Drug Testing Institute determined that the sample of Tang ki sinh medicinal herb at Duoc Tri Phong Company Limited (Ho Chi Minh City) imported by Dong Duoc Dan Loi Company Limited (Khanh Hoa) with batch number 25041639, expiry date April 15, 2028, exported by Anhui Xiehecheng Chinese Herb Limited, did not meet quality standards, violating quality level 1 (criteria: qualitative, unable to identify medicinal herb species).

To ensure the rights of users and prevent poor quality medicinal herbs from circulating on the market, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Department of Health requests that medicinal herb businesses and users across the province immediately stop trading, selling, and using the above batch of Tang ki sinh medicinal herbs and quarantine the remaining medicinal herbs (if any).

At the same time, the Testing Center is assigned to directly supervise and monitor the handling of this batch of medicinal materials during the sampling process for quality testing. The functional departments of the Department will strengthen inspection, supervision and handling of units and individuals violating current regulations.

The Department of Health also requested the People's Committees of communes and wards to disseminate information to businesses, medicinal herb users and local people so that they do not trade or use batches of Tang ki sinh medicinal herbs with the above signs; according to assigned functions, tasks and authorities, strengthen inspection and handling of units and individuals violating current regulations.
