People are excited
On October 15, 1946, at Mieu Tay, Da Pho village, Kien Phuc commune, the first Congress was held to establish the Ninh Giang District Party Committee with 30 members. This event marked the development of the revolutionary struggle movement, building and developing the District Party Committee and the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee.
This year's Party and Spring celebration activities in Kien Phuc were organized early, with a more joyful and exciting atmosphere as the new commune was just established on the basis of merging Kien Quoc and Hong Phuc communes.
Since the beginning of January, the commune has hung more than 200 pink flags, national flags and billboards on main roads to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Spring of At Ty 2025. The locality also organized the wrapping of 250 banh chung at Khuc Thua Du temple to give to the poor and people in difficult circumstances, and encouraged visits to exemplary policy families.
Mr. Bui Van Ve in Cuc Bo village, whose house is near Khuc Thua Du Temple, excitedly shared: "The commune is larger and more populous, so the activities are also more exciting and larger in scale. We all hope that the commune will continue to exploit its favorable location, traditional network and develop more and more."
According to Mr. Bui Van Cuong, Chairman of Kien Phuc Commune People's Committee, in 2024, the total production value of the commune will reach 1,021 billion VND. Currently, the average income per capita of the commune is 72 million VND/year, the poverty rate is only 1.6%...
Nearly 2 months after the merger, local activities and work have gradually become orderly and stable. Promoting the revolutionary tradition, local Party committees and authorities are focusing on performing their tasks well from the beginning of the year, striving to complete the set goals, including the goal of building a commune that meets advanced new rural standards.
These days, Mr. Nguyen Quang Huy in Thu Lang village, Ngoc Lien commune (Cam Giang) often goes to exercise on the village road. He said that Ngoc Lien village is changing day by day, celebrating Tet in an exciting atmosphere with many positive results like fresh flowers offered to the Party on the occasion of its 95th founding anniversary.
Ngoc Lien is a rural area rich in revolutionary tradition. At the end of 1944, the first Party cell of Cam Giang district was established in Binh Phien village, Ngoc Lien commune, including 4 party members with comrade Ngo Thi Sam (aka Ba Mien) as Secretary. Immediately after its establishment, the cell proposed policies and measures to consolidate and lead the revolutionary movement in the district. The August Revolution succeeded, and in response to the new revolutionary task that required unified leadership in the entire district, at the end of July 1946, the district Party cell was established with 20 party members with comrade Ngo Thi Sam as Secretary.
Comrade Le Van Dinh, Secretary of the Party Committee of Ngoc Lien commune, said: "Our greatest joy is that all socio -economic development targets for 2024 have been achieved and exceeded the set plan. The production value in the commune reached more than 697 billion VND. The average income per capita reached 75 million VND/year. Primary schools, secondary schools, and kindergartens all met national standards. Security and order were maintained."
Traditional education
On the days before the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025, Secretary of the Tan Viet Commune Party Committee Nguyen Tuan Tuyen introduced the history of the Party Committee to the students of the commune's secondary school at the Van Tue Pagoda stele house - where the district Party Committee was established. This is where the first Party cell, the predecessor of the Thanh Ha District Party Committee, was established.
Nearly 80 years ago, on the evening of May 25, 1945, comrade Tran Cung, on behalf of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, announced the decision to establish the Thanh Ha District Communist Party Cell - the predecessor of the Thanh Ha District Party Committee today. Up to now, the Thanh Ha District Party Committee has grown strongly, building a prosperous and happy life for the people.
Many times visiting and learning at Van Tue Pagoda's stele house with friends, Nguyen Ngoc Van, class 9A, Tan Viet Secondary School said: "Here, there are some historical documents about the formation, construction, operation and growth of Thanh Ha District Party Committee and Tan Viet Commune Party Committee. Through that, it helps me understand more about the glorious tradition of my hometown, creating motivation for us to strive to study, practice, become useful people for society, contributing to building my hometown more and more rich and civilized".
Returning to revolutionary homelands during the coming of Tet and spring, seeing clearly the changes in people's lives, I have more faith in the Party and am grateful to the revolutionary elders, loyal communist soldiers, heroic martyrs and many generations of comrades and compatriots who have devoted themselves to the homeland and country.
