Landslide appeared on the road to the Tay Giang - Ka Lum secondary border gate.

DNO - On October 22, due to the impact of prolonged heavy rain, a serious landslide occurred on the road leading to the Tay Giang - Ka Lum secondary border gate (in Hung Son commune), thousands of cubic meters of rock and soil spilled onto the road, causing traffic congestion.

Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Son Commune, Zoram Buon, said that the landslide was recorded at the intersection of Cha Noc village, near the turn to A Tu village (about 4km from the Tay Giang - Ka Lum sub-border gate), thousands of cubic meters of rock and soil from the positive slope collapsed and flowed onto the concrete road.

The serious landslide completely cut off the vital traffic route connecting the commune center with the secondary border gate. Local authorities mobilized vehicles and machinery to help fix the problem and soon reopen the route.

Hung Son commune authorities recommend that people limit movement through landslide areas, especially during heavy rains, to avoid the risk of landslides and rock falls from the slope.

Vehicles must comply with the instructions of authorities to ensure the safety of life and property.
