On the same day, Colonel Hoang Minh Hung, Commander of the Hue City Border Guard Command, said that the border guards fired warning flares for storm No. 12 and used loudspeakers to inform fishermen and vehicles in the anchorage area to proactively respond.

Currently, all fishing boats of Hue City fishermen are safely anchored.
The Border Guard Command directed units to proactively grasp the situation, coordinate with local authorities to review and develop plans to promptly support and evacuate people in vulnerable areas to safety.

To cope with storm No. 12 and heavy rain, the Standing Committee of the Hue City Party Committee issued a telegram requesting agencies, units, and localities to grasp the situation and closely monitor the developments of storms and floods. Accordingly, members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, City Party Committee members, and commune-level Secretaries are required to directly go to their respective areas to inspect and urge the response work. The heads of Party committees, authorities, agencies, and units are responsible for any major damage caused by lack of responsibility, delay, or subjectivity in directing the prevention of storm No. 12.
