In the past, many YouTube users subscribed to a favorite channel and turned on "All" notifications so they wouldn't miss any content. However, over time, interest in that channel can wane, leading to notifications that they no longer enjoy and becoming annoying.
YouTube users will now no longer be bothered by notifications from channels they no longer care about.
To address this, Google is testing a new system that automatically adjusts the number of notifications for YouTube channels that users rarely interact with, while leaving channels that users regularly follow untouched, helping them not miss videos they might be interested in.
All adjustments on YouTube are automatic.
Specifically, with the new system, if users continue to interact with a channel and that channel has "All" notifications enabled, they will continue to receive notifications as usual. Conversely, as interaction decreases, the number of notifications will also automatically decrease over time without the user having to do anything.

Not only does this help users reduce the annoyance of unnecessary notifications, it also keeps them from turning off YouTube notifications completely.
Although this is just a test version and there is no guarantee that it will be applied to all users, many people hope that this feature will soon be widely deployed to bring a better experience to the YouTube user community.
