From October 22 to 29, military schools will accept additional university and college admission applications based on high school graduation exam results, with a total quota of nearly 200.
The Ministry of National Defense's Military Admissions Board said there are 3 academies and 7 officer schools that need to recruit more. Candidates are eligible for admission if they have participated in the preliminary selection and received a notification from a military school that they meet the preliminary selection requirements but have not been accepted or confirmed to enroll in any school.
Candidates participating in the supplementary recruitment must still meet the health standards according to the regulations of the recruiting school and have taken the high school graduation exam this year. The score for receiving applications ranges from 18.05 to 27.62, depending on the school, the candidate and the admission group.
For basic military university and college training - training for military commanders at commune, ward and town levels, the score for receiving applications is from 10.25 to 21.25.
Candidates submit their application directly to the school or via express delivery. The application includes: application form, original copy of high school graduation exam certificate, photocopy of the notice of eligibility for preliminary selection.

This year, 17 military schools recruited nearly 4,400 students, a decrease of 445 compared to last year. The standard score according to the high school graduation exam results, announced on August 23, is from 16.25 to 27.97. The Military Science Academy has the highest standard score. Female candidates applying for the Chinese Language major must achieve 27.97 to be admitted.
