National Lion Dance Competition held in Binh Thuan in November 2023

The training course is for 156 trainees from 21 provinces and cities: An Giang, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Ben Tre, Binh Duong, Binh Dinh, Binh Phuoc, Binh Thuan, Can Tho, Da Nang, Dong Nai, Hau Giang, Ho Chi Minh City, Kien Giang, Lam Dong, Long An, Quang Binh, Quang Nam, Tien Giang , Thanh Hoa, Thua Thien Hue, Vinh Long .

The National Lion Dance Competition always attracts audiences to watch and cheer.

This is the first training course held in Binh Thuan, after the great success of the National Lion Dance Competition which ended in November 2023.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Huynh Ngoc Tam emphasized: Training course   n to promptly equip the referees and coaches nationwide with basic professional knowledge on training and competing in the Lion Dance. At the same time, train and improve the qualifications of coaches and referees; promote the Lion Dance training movement nationwide, contributing to preserving and promoting the cultural and sports traditions of the nation.

At the same time, students are required to grasp the skills, training methods and referee management so that the Lion Dance movement nationwide can develop further. Especially the basic knowledge and skills of Lion Dance , and absorb effective training and referee management methods. Students also need to boldly give unclear opinions for the lecturers to answer, contributing to improving their own awareness during the learning process.

The training course was organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province in coordination with the Department of Sports and Physical Training from December 20-26, 2023.
