The program is organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, the Department of Culture and Sports in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Literature and Arts Associations, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union and relevant departments and branches.

The conference took place on October 18 at the City Academy of Officials (Binh Thanh Ward). The conference will mark half a century of creativity and aspiration for the advancement of literature and art in the city - a major center of economy , culture, education and science and technology of the whole country, a gathering place for many generations of talented artists.
