After 4 months of launching (June 15 - October 15), the contest received great attention from many professional and non-professional Vietnamese and foreign authors participating with many valuable works about the beauty of nature, country, and people across all regions of Vietnam and abroad.
The works contribute to the strong spread of noble human values, sympathy and concern of the social community for the lives of each citizen with the desire to "leave no one behind", at the same time arousing the aspiration to build and develop Vietnam to become more and more prosperous.
The photo and video contest "Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam" received more than 7,000 entries.
Many works are presented with a new, objective perspective on life, society and the development of Vietnam and its people, conveying the message of a happy, civilized and powerful Vietnam.
From more than 7,000 entries, the Organizing Committee and the Jury - experts from the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists; the Vietnam Cinema Association and many experts in the field of photography and cinema worked impartially and responsibly to select the best works to award.
The contest is a testament to the patriotism and dedication of people across the country to promoting the image of the country, its people, and the beautiful cultural traditions of our nation to the international community.
At the same time, the contest also shows new trends in social media work, based on the application of digital technology , digital platforms and mobilizing the strength of the entire population to develop digital data to effectively serve information and propaganda work.
The award ceremony will be held at the Hanoi Opera House on the evening of December 19 with many special art programs broadcast live on Vietnam Television (VTV4).
After the Award Ceremony, the Organizing Committee will use valuable works to display at several public places for the public to enjoy and widely spread the meaning of the event.
The contest has a total prize value of over 400 million VND. Authors with excellent works have the opportunity to receive prizes, including: 2 First Prizes worth 100,000,000 VND/prize, 2 Second Prizes worth 30,000,000 VND/prize, 2 Third Prizes worth 20,000,000 VND/prize.
