8 key tasks of the emulation movement to ensure traffic order and safety in 2025

The Traffic Safety Committee of Hai Duong province has just issued a plan to launch an emulation movement to ensure traffic order and safety in 2025.

The movement was launched to collectives and individuals of departments, branches, organizations, and unions that are member agencies of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee, Traffic Safety Committees of districts, towns, and cities, and deployed to all agencies, units, organizations, unions, businesses, and people... in the province.

The purpose is to create a strong driving force in ensuring traffic order and safety in all areas of transport to effectively implement the 2025 theme "Safe journey, creating the future"; strive to reduce the number of cases, deaths and injuries due to traffic accidents compared to 2024. At the same time, strive to prevent particularly serious traffic accidents; overcome traffic congestion on main traffic routes, and prevent prolonged traffic congestion.

The movement's content includes 8 key tasks. It focuses on improving the effectiveness of leadership and direction, strengthening inspection and supervision of the implementation of directives, resolutions and plans at all levels on strengthening the work of ensuring order and safety of road traffic in the new situation.

Build and perfect institutions, mechanisms, legal policies and regulations related to ensuring traffic order and safety. Strictly manage the implementation of approved planning, ensure the construction of new or refurbished infrastructure of industrial parks, urban areas, commercial centers, schools, hospitals and centers with high travel demand in accordance with the capacity of traffic infrastructure and public transport. Pay attention to anti-congestion projects and ensure traffic order and safety in the annual public investment plan.
