Apple Watch Series 10 has the thinnest body ever

Apple announced the Apple Watch series 10 with new design and many new features.

The Apple Watch Series 10 is the first Apple product to use an upgraded OLED display with low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) thin-film transistor (TFT) technology, which optimizes each pixel to emit more light at wider viewing angles. As a result, the display is up to 40% brighter than the previous model when viewed from an angle, making it easier to read at a glance. The wide-angle OLED display is also more power-efficient, allowing for faster refresh rates when the Apple Watch is in always-on display mode.

The Watch Series 10 is nearly 10% thinner than its predecessor, while adding new features and maintaining up to 18 hours of battery life. The watch has an improved metal back that integrates the antenna into the device's case, combining the two into one. The back has a material, finish, and color that is completely consistent with the rest of the case, making the device look like it's made from a single block of metal.

The Watch Series 10 has a 10% lighter aluminum case and a 20% lighter titanium case than the Series 9. The case has more rounded corners and a wider aspect ratio, allowing for a much larger screen while the case size only increases to 42mm and 46mm.

The new metal back incorporates a larger and more efficient charging coil, making the Watch 10 series the fastest-charging Apple Watch ever, with a 15-minute charge giving you up to 8 hours of use; users can also charge up to 80% in 30 minutes.

Apple Watch Series 10 comes in both aluminum and titanium, with a variety of colors and cases. The new jet black aluminum case offers a unique glossy look, while the titanium case comes in natural, gold, and slate gray.

Apple also offers updated Milanese and chain band options to match the new Titanium case color of the Apple Watch Series 10. Additionally, the Nike Sport Loop and Nike Sport Band come in striking new colorways.

The smartwatch is powered by the S10 processor, which is designed to achieve a slimmer form factor while excelling in performance, power efficiency, and smart features. The S10 processor and quad-core Neural Engine integrate smart features that users rely on every day, including double-tap gestures, dictation, and automatic exercise detection.

Additionally, the watch features like collision detection, fall detection, and smart stacking updated in watchOS 11.
