Mr. Lee cited Deloitte's latest report showing that 93% of SMBs (small and medium enterprises) in Vietnam have applied AI in their operations. This rate is the highest among all ASEAN countries such as Indonesia (80%), Malaysia (78%) and Thailand (77%). More importantly, Vietnamese enterprises do not just apply AI passively. Up to 92% of enterprises participating in the survey affirmed that AI helps increase productivity, 91% recorded improved customer experience, and 89% said that AI helps reduce operating costs. This is clear evidence that Vietnam has moved from the "AI discovery " stage to the application stage to bring real value.
