On the morning of December 16 (November 4 of the lunar calendar), the Chut ethnic people in Ban Giang 2, Huong Vinh commune organized a program to celebrate Cha Leng festival.

On the even day of the 11th lunar month every year (chosen by the villagers), after the harvest is complete, the Chut people celebrate the Cha Leng festival to thank heaven and earth for favorable weather, bountiful crops and to welcome the new season.
