On the morning of April 8, under the chairmanship of comrade Thai Thanh Quy, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Standing Committee and comrade Nguyen Doan Anh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, the working delegation of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee worked with the Standing Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee on the 5-year review of the implementation of Resolution No. 58-NQ/TW of the Politburo .

At the working session, the representative of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee's working group presented the draft plan to review 5 years of implementing Resolution No. 58-NQ/TW of the Politburo; Outline of the Politburo's Report; Outline of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee's Report; Outline of relevant ministries and branches on implementing Resolution No. 58 of the Politburo on building and developing Thanh Hoa province to 2030, with a vision to 2045. Accordingly, the contents that need to be implemented include: Assessment of the situation of organization and implementation and results achieved, shortcomings, limitations and causes after 5 years of implementing Resolution No. 58-NQ/TW (2020-2024 period).
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan spoke at the meeting.
Synthesize, analyze, and evaluate the impact of domestic and international contexts on socio -economic development and national defense and security; strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges for socio-economic development, national defense and security of Thanh Hoa province.
Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Trinh Tuan Sinh spoke at the meeting.
Proposing adjustments, supplements and improvements to leadership and direction measures suitable to the new context and situation to successfully implement Resolution No. 58-NQ/TW.
Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Dao Xuan Yen spoke at the meeting.
Propose and recommend that the Politburo issue a Conclusion to continue implementing Resolution No. 58-NQ/TW in accordance with the development practices of Thanh Hoa province in the new period.

After listening to the discussion opinions and concluding the working session, Comrade Thai Thanh Quy, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee, congratulated the results that Thanh Hoa province has achieved in implementing Resolution No. 58 and emphasized that the figures and results, along with the development of infrastructure, are clear evidence for Thanh Hoa province to become a growth pole in the North of the country. Comrade Thai Thanh Quy, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee, highly appreciated the initiative of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee in implementing the plan to review Resolution No. 58-NQ/TW of the Politburo. At the same time, he agreed with the recommendations and proposals of the provincial leaders at the working session, in which the time to organize the review conference in Thanh Hoa province will be around June 2025; complete the report to the Politburo in August 2025.
The Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Standing Committee suggested that Thanh Hoa province should study new mechanisms and policies for socio-economic development in the new period. At the same time, closely coordinate with the Central Policy and Strategy Committee and central ministries and branches to accelerate the progress of the preliminary review in areas related to Resolution No. 58 of the Politburo and Resolution No. 37 of the National Assembly on special mechanisms...
Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Standing Committee Thai Thanh Quy emphasized: Based on the discussion, the Central Policy and Strategy Committee and the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Standing Committee have reached an agreement on important contents so that the implementation of Resolution No. 58-NQ/TW of the Politburo can be carried out in a systematic and scientific manner, on schedule, and reported to the Politburo.

Speaking at the end of the working session, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Doan Anh respectfully thanked Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee Thai Thanh Quy and the members of the delegation for their attention to the development of Thanh Hoa province. At the same time, he shared and informed about the outstanding results, as well as the potential advantages that Thanh Hoa province has. In addition, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Doan Anh agreed with the Central Policy and Strategy Committee on the progress and time to organize the preliminary conference at the local level and the central ministries and branches; and the completion of the report to submit to the Politburo.
Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Doan Anh hopes that in the coming time, Thanh Hoa province will continue to receive the attention of Comrade Thai Thanh Quy, Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee and comrades in the Central Policy and Strategy Committee in planning mechanisms and policies to create conditions for Thanh Hoa province to develop more and more, becoming a model province as Uncle Ho always wished during his lifetime.
