On the afternoon of January 17, the Standing Committee of Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee held a meeting to wish a Happy New Year to leaders of central departments, ministries, branches, military generals, and police officers from Bac Giang province. At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Viet Oanh briefly informed about the socio-economic development results of Bac Giang province in 2024. The province's economy continues to develop positively and comprehensively in all fields. Notably, the economic growth rate reached 13.85%, the highest in the country. Basically, the main targets met and exceeded the plan. The province has completed the arrangement of administrative units at district and commune levels; completed early the plan to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for the poor and families of meritorious people in the area.
Social security policies are given attention and implemented well. People's lives are stable and improved in many aspects; poverty reduction rate is decreasing rapidly. National defense and security are ensured.
He affirmed that in the process of carrying out tasks and developing socio-economic, ensuring national defense and security, Bac Giang province has always received the attention, support and regular assistance from leaders of central departments, ministries, branches, military generals and police of Bac Giang hometown. That is a great source of encouragement for the provincial leaders and the entire provincial Party Committee to overcome difficulties and achieve many outstanding and comprehensive results in recent times.
He emphasized that Bac Giang province hopes to continue to receive the attention, support, assistance, encouragement and support of the leaders of the Central Committees, ministries and branches , the army generals and police of Bac Giang in the coming time so that the province can complete and exceed the socio-economic development targets, determined to build Bac Giang to develop strongly, together with the whole country entering a new era, the era of national growth.
