To maintain the traditional cake brand and attract customers, in addition to accelerating production, establishments pay attention to ensuring food safety and hygiene. At the same time, the People's Committees of communes and wards also proactively set up inspection teams to regularly monitor production conditions at moon cake establishments, ensuring that products delivered to consumers are always safe and of good quality.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh, Deputy Head of the Economic Department of That Khe Commune, said: The profession of making moon cakes has existed for a long time in the commune. Some households still preserve and use the traditional method of making moon cakes with wood stoves, creating a unique flavor. According to preliminary statistics, the whole commune has 10 moon cake production establishments. During the Mid-Autumn Festival, production households increase production to meet the consumption needs of people in and outside the province. To ensure quality and food safety, the department coordinates with related units to propagate to moon cake production and trading establishments to comply with food safety regulations.
