Level 12 storm Bualoi is moving rapidly into the East Sea.

Storm Bualoi quickly strengthened from level 8 to level 12 on the morning of September 25, heading straight towards the East Sea (expected tomorrow night, September 26).

Updated information until 8:00 a.m. on September 25 from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, storm Bualoi is active in the sea east of the Philippines and tends to move quickly towards the East Sea.

Vietnam's meteorological agency said that around the night of September 26, the storm will enter the eastern sea area of ​​the central East Sea and become the 10th storm in 2025. Many sea areas are warned to be strongly affected and need to be especially vigilant.

Satellite data at 7am this morning, September 25, the center of storm Bualoi was at approximately 10.8 degrees North latitude - 129 degrees East longitude. The strongest wind near the center of the storm has increased to level 12 (118 - 133 km/h), gusting to level 15. Yesterday, September 24, the storm was still active at level 8, then gradually increased to level 9-10. This storm is moving rapidly in the West Northwest direction at a speed of 15-20 km/h.

According to Mr. Mai Van Khiem, Director of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the storm is likely to strengthen further as it moves.

In the next 24 to 72 hours, the storm will continue to move in a West-Northwest direction and is likely to increase in intensity. It is forecasted that by the morning of September 26, the storm will be at level 13, gusting to level 16.

However, by the morning of September 27, when passing through the mainland of the Central Philippines, the storm weakened to level 12, gusting to level 15. Continuing to move in a West-Northwest direction into the East Sea, storm Bualoi will become storm number 10 (according to Vietnam's name) and is likely to strengthen again to level 12 - 13, gusting to level 16. From this point, the storm will accelerate (possibly up to 25km/h) and cause very dangerous weather in the East Sea.

Regarding the impact, from the evening and night of September 26, the eastern sea of ​​the North and Central East Sea will have winds gradually increasing to level 6-7, then increasing to level 8-9. The area near the storm's center will have strong winds of level 10-12, gusting to level 15, waves 5-7m high, and rough seas.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting warns that this is an especially dangerous area for ships operating. Localities, authorities and fishermen need to proactively take preventive measures, minimize activities at sea when the storm approaches, and regularly monitor official bulletins from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting and reputable international storm warning agencies.
