The program "March Border Month" was organized by the Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union of District 12 (HCMC) from March 6 to March 8.
The " March Border Month " program will visit and give gifts and scholarships to children of officers and soldiers at border posts in Duc Co district, Gia Lai province. In addition, it will organize free medical examination programs for people, give gifts and set up 0 VND booths for people in border areas.
At the same time, organize the "I love my Fatherland" flag-raising ceremony at the border marker, donate works to border forces, and hold activities about the revolutionary traditions of the army and people in border areas.
The Lao Dong Newspaper's delegation coordinated with District 12's Youth Union to carry out the flag and scholarship awarding tasks. In particular, the Lao Dong Newspaper presented 200 national flags, inaugurated the National Flag Street and awarded 10 scholarships worth 1 million VND each.
Mr. Nguyen Tran Minh Tri, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Lao Dong Newspaper, awarded 10 scholarships worth 1 million VND each.
Mr. Nguyen Hoai Bao, Secretary of District 12 Youth Union, expressed his thanks to Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper and hoped to accompany the newspaper in many meaningful community activities.
