K Hospital speaks out after being slandered and defamed

This morning, August 20, K Hospital issued a notice that recently, on a number of social networking platforms, many videos have appeared posted under the account name Tiktok DTT (ID: @xx.thanh.xx) and a number of other accounts with distorted, slanderous and spreading content with the purpose of defaming the image of K Hospital and the personal reputation of doctors and medical staff .

According to K Hospital, from July 15 to August 16, the above account posted many videos specifically naming K Hospital and a number of doctors and hospital management leaders; the content stated in the videos are all fabricated, slanderous, defamatory, and intentionally damaging the image and reputation of the hospital.

K Hospital affirms that, up to now, the hospital has always organized, managed and operated medical examination and treatment under the strict supervision of the Ministry of Health , ensuring full and strict compliance with legal regulations, operating regulations and regulations of agencies and sectors. Therefore, the above actions and statements for personal motives and purposes have deliberately slandered, fabricated and distorted the truth to incite public anger against K Hospital and a boycott mentality, lowering the reputation of K Hospital.

To protect the hospital's image and reputation, K Hospital has sent a complaint and denunciation of the violation to the management agencies and the central and local authorities where the incident occurred.

* In the announcement, K Hospital also clearly informed about the incident that happened on the morning of August 17. Specifically, Ms. D.TT went into Tam Hiep K Hospital, branch 2, to hand out tickets, called on patients and their relatives to come and get food for charity, and filmed patients undergoing treatment. This violated the regulations on patient privacy and regulations on organizing charity gifts of the hospital, affected patients, affected order in the hospital grounds, and was not approved by K Hospital.

Meanwhile, K Hospital arranged a kitchen to provide free lunch and dinner for patients, over 500 meals/day at Tam Hiep K Hospital; arranged more than 200 beds, air conditioners, hot and cold bathrooms, and laundry for patients registered at Tan Trieu K Hospital.

Faced with this incident, the security team discovered and invited Ms. T. out. However, Ms. T. acted out, sitting on a chair in the hallway, loudly cursing, insulting, challenging the security guards, causing disorder in the hospital grounds.

Immediately after that, K Hospital reported to Tam Hiep Commune Police and Thanh Tri District Police to coordinate with Thanh Tri District People's Procuracy to prevent Ms. T. and her husband from causing disorder at Tam Hiep K Hospital; made a record of the incident, recorded a diagram of the scene with the participation and witness of relevant parties to carry out steps in accordance with legal procedures.

According to the hospital, after the incident, on August 17 and 18, Ms. T. continuously created video clips with false content about being assaulted, accompanied by slanderous and vulgar words, referring to the leadership and medical team of K Hospital.

According to K Hospital, the unit is always ready to listen and receive comments from patients and their families on existing problems in a positive manner, from which it can implement activities more suitable to actual conditions.

Currently, K Hospital has reported the incident to the leaders of the Ministry of Health and is coordinating with the authorities to investigate and handle the situation to soon have a conclusion.
