Son Ca Island infirmary provides emergency care to fishermen in distress at sea

Previously, at 5:00 a.m. on September 25, while fishing in the sea 100 nautical miles from Son Ca Island, Mr. Nguyen Huu Thanh, 34 years old, a fisherman on fishing boat BD96945 TS, dived 20 meters deep to remove the net. When he came up to the surface, he felt cold all over his body, fainted for 15 minutes, had chest pain, and lost sensation in both lower limbs.

He was given oil and care by the crew members on board but there was no improvement. The patient was safely taken to the Son Ca Island Infirmary by the fishing boat BD-969457 TS, captained by Vo Ba Truong, at 11:30 p.m. the same day.
