Public-private, institute-school cooperation to develop high-quality medical human resources

(Chinhphu.vn) - The signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between Hanoi Medical University, Vinmec Healthcare System and VinUni University took place on October 3 - an event of important significance in the strategy of developing high-quality medical human resources in Vietnam.

At the signing ceremony, Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan said that the cooperation agreement between Hanoi Medical University, Vinmec Healthcare System and VinUni University is of great significance. This is a connection between schools and institutes, public and private systems to develop the country's healthcare. This combination creates a synergistic strength, both preserving traditional values ​​and anticipating new trends.

"From this agreement, in addition to the three signatory units that will benefit, generations of students will be the first beneficiaries, due to increased exchanges and clinical and paraclinical access between the school and the practice unit. The management agency will also benefit because this is an activity marking a series of activities to implement Resolution 72 of the Politburo on a number of breakthrough solutions, strengthening the protection, care and improvement of people's health, and at the same time marking the commitment to improve the quality of the country's medical human resources to serve the people," said the Minister.

Minister Dao Hong Lan also requested the signing units today to soon realize it with specific activities and positive results.

According to the agreement, the three parties will coordinate to implement key areas of cooperation including: teaching and training (program and curriculum development; exchange of lecturers, experts and students), scientific research (co-developing and implementing joint research projects, sharing results for all parties), human resource development (organizing training programs, improving capacity for lecturers, experts and medical staff), academic and community activities (organizing seminars, scientific forums; supporting students through career guidance activities, internships, and recruitment connections).

In the coming period, the three parties will promote joint research groups on modern medical technology (AI, robots, big data), expand clinical internship opportunities at internationally standard facilities, and organize academic exchange programs, scientific forums and community activities.
