The Provincial Military Command surveyed the construction of inter-level schools in border communes.

Implementing the Politburo's policy of investing in the construction of 248 schools in border communes across the country, the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense have directed pioneering military units to respond, directly survey and deploy in localities.

On August 13, the working delegation of the Dak Lak Provincial Military Command led by Colonel Dinh Van Hung, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, conducted a field survey in the land border communes in the province on the proposal to build a boarding school for primary and secondary school levels.

The delegation surveyed the actual site for upgrading and building a boarding school for primary and secondary levels in Ia Lop commune.

The delegation visited localities to learn about the needs and aspirations of students and teachers; worked with commune-level authorities to propose suitable investment plans for inter-level primary and secondary boarding schools.

The survey results show that there are 3 localities proposing to upgrade existing schools into inter-level primary and secondary boarding schools: Ea Bung commune (upgrading and expanding Le Quy Don Secondary School); Ia Lop commune (upgrading and expanding Nguyen Trai Primary School and Tran Hung Dao Secondary School); Ia Rve commune (upgrading and expanding Nguyen Thi Dinh Secondary School). Buon Don commune alone proposed to invest in building a completely new inter-level primary and secondary boarding school.

According to Colonel Dinh Van Hung, this survey aims to effectively implement the Conclusion of the Central Military Commission Standing Committee on supporting the construction of a school for a border commune; the investment capital of 150 billion VND from the Ministry of National Defense's budget mobilized from enterprises under the Ministry of National Defense. This is a concrete step of the provincial armed forces in implementing the Party's major policy, contributing to improving people's knowledge, strengthening national defense and security and sustainable development of the border area.
