Soldiers brought 1 ton of home-grown vegetables to give to people in need

On April 30, a fruit and vegetable stall located in front of the military barracks of Infantry Battalion 43, Infantry Regiment 842, Quang Tri Provincial Military Command attracted attention when it hung a sign selling for "0 VND".

According to research, all the vegetables and fruits in this special booth are products of increased production by officers and soldiers of Infantry Battalion 43. About 1 ton of vegetables and fruits including: squash, pumpkin, eggplant, various vegetables... are provided for free to support people in need who want to come and get them to eat.

According to the leader of the 43rd Infantry Battalion, the "Zero-dong booth" program was deployed by the unit's Youth Union on the occasion of April 30 - May 1 and will continue to maintain this meaningful activity on major national holidays and anniversaries of the Union's activities.

With the motto "if you are in difficulty, take enough to use - if you are okay, please give it to others", the "Zero-dong stall" of the 43rd Battalion Union has become a place to send and share love, bringing joy and happiness to those in difficult circumstances.

This is a very humane activity, bringing great spiritual value to the people, spreading the beautiful image of soldiers through practical work, contributing to consolidating and enhancing military-civilian solidarity, promoting the noble image of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new period.
