Ministry of Education and Training 'finalizes' the minimum score for teacher training majors, the highest health is 20.5 points

According to the Ministry of Education and Training , the threshold to ensure input quality from high school graduation exam scores for admission to majors in the group of majors for university and college teacher training in 2025 for candidates in region 3 has a minimum score (without coefficient) of all combinations of 3 exams/subjects, not counting bonus points, regardless of the exam results of candidates studying the 2006 and 2018 programs, as specifically regulated.

That is, the threshold to ensure input quality for majors in the group of majors training university-level teachers is 19 points.

The Ministry of Education and Training has set the highest threshold for ensuring input quality for university-level health majors in 2025 at 20.5, lower than last year.

For Physical Education , Music Pedagogy and Fine Arts Pedagogy, the score is 18 points for the admission combination of 3 cultural subjects. Other admission combinations are implemented according to the provisions of the current Admission Regulations.

The threshold to ensure input quality for the college-level Early Childhood Education program is 16.5 points for the admission combination of 3 cultural subjects. Other admission combinations are implemented according to the provisions of the current Admission Regulations.

The Ministry of Education and Training requires universities, academies, colleges and junior colleges that offer teacher training programs to organize admissions for candidates using high school graduation exam results according to the current regulations on university admissions and college admissions for preschool education.

The highest minimum score is 20.5 points for Medicine and Dentistry; 19 points for Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy; and 17 points for other majors.

In 2024, the admission threshold for university-level teacher training programs is 19 points. The admission threshold for college-level Preschool Education is 17 points for a combination of 3 cultural subjects.

Also in 2024, the health sector group will have a practice certificate, the minimum score for Medicine and Dentistry is 22.5 points; Pharmacy and Traditional Medicine is 21 points; Health sectors including: Nursing, Preventive Medicine, Midwifery, Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Imaging Technology, Rehabilitation Technology, Dental Prosthetic Technology is 19 points.
