The Ministry of Education and Training announced the score distribution of popular combinations of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training , in order to effectively, transparently, fairly and correctly implement the 2025 enrollment plan, it is recommended that training institutions, based on reference and comparison of score distributions and total score percentiles of some traditional combinations, use the high school graduation exam results after calibration, guidance documents of the Ministry of Education and Training, main admission subjects of each industry/group of industries, specific requirements of the industry, school and statistics, assessment of learning outcomes of previous years, training institutions proactively develop and announce equivalent conversion of admission scores between admission combinations according to plan.

In case of using the results of separate exams such as: Capacity assessment, thinking assessment.... and other methods, based on the percentile announcement of the units organizing the separate exams, the training institution determines the most suitable combination (original combination, usually the combination with the highest correlation coefficient between the two exams) to convert with the results of the separate exam, without building a bridging relationship.

The Ministry of Education and Training provides the score distribution of popular combinations of the High School Graduation Exam and High School learning results so that training institutions have a basis to determine the difference in scores between combinations.

Training institutions clearly inform candidates and strictly comply with the admission process; at the same time, they are responsible for answering the conversion results equivalent to the admission score.

For example: for major X, the admission score based on the high school graduation exam results of group A00 (original group) is 25/30 points, corresponding to the admission score of the separate exam of 75/120 points.

If the admission score according to combination B00 is 24/30, this score will not be used to determine the corresponding admission score of the separate exam.

In case of using high school results, based on statistical data on the correlation between the scores of high school graduation exams in 2025 and the average scores of high school subjects, the training institution shall develop and announce the equivalent conversion of admission scores and input thresholds for each program, industry, group of industries or training field.

For training institutions that organize independent exams according to the comprehensive exam, the Ministry of Education and Training determines graduation exam subject combinations that are suitable for the characteristics of the individual exam organized by the training institution and recommends that other training institutions can use them, clarifying which combination is most suitable to determine as the original combination; guide and support training institutions in building the conversion of admission scores.
