On the morning of June 27, in Ha Long City, the joint venture of Global Financial Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company and Hanoi Housing Investment and Development Joint Stock Company No. 6 held a ceremony to draw lots for the right to buy and the location of apartments in the social housing project at Ngan Bang Hill in Hong Hai Ward and Cao Thang Ward, Ha Long City.

After the registration and approval process ensuring publicity, transparency and compliance with legal regulations, the draw had the participation of 378/415 eligible customers registering to buy social housing at the social housing project in the residential area at Ngan Bang Hill in Hong Hai ward and Cao Thang ward, Ha Long city.

Customers will draw lots for the right to buy and the location of 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom apartments. The drawing will be public and direct by ballot. Accordingly, the ballot box for the right to buy will have 135 winning ballots equivalent to 135 apartment location ballots and 243 reserve ballots. Customers will draw lots for the right to buy first. For people who draw lots for the right to buy an apartment, they will continue to draw lots for the location of the apartment to buy.

The draw was conducted transparently, objectively and fairly under the close supervision of relevant departments, agencies and units as well as customers present. Through the draw, 135 customers were able to buy social housing.

The social housing project of the Bank Hill Residential Area was started on October 30, 2022, is the first social housing project for low-income people in the province, with a construction scale of over 25,900m2, a total investment of 1,361 billion VND with 790 apartments. Currently, the project has 135 remaining apartments. Meanwhile, there are 415 eligible customers registering to buy houses. Because the number of eligible customers registering to buy apartments is greater than the total number of remaining apartments, this lottery is to ensure publicity, transparency, objectivity, and compliance with the law on the procedure for buying houses for beneficiaries of social housing support policies under the Housing Law.

Customers who apply to buy social housing after drawing lots will have the right to buy and the location of the apartment.

It is known that up to now, the project has handed over apartments to the first 80 customers, meeting the housing needs of low-income people and ensuring social security.
