This year’s National Youth Swimming Championship has 31 units, provinces, and sectors with 257 athletes competing in 127 events. After 7 days of exciting and fierce competition, the Ho Chi Minh City swimming team excellently achieved first place overall with 44 gold medals, 29 silver medals, and 33 bronze medals. This result was very impressive when it surpassed the very strong second place unit, the National Defense Sports Center 4 (37 gold medals, 14 silver medals, and 16 bronze medals).

In addition, the Ho Chi Minh City swimming team also impressed with the performance of athlete Tran Duy Khoi, a former national swimmer.
