This is one of the desserts that people especially love on cold days.
Pho mixed with meat marinated with salt, ginger, pepper, garlic, lemon juice,... ranked 25th on Taste Atlas' list.
The last representative of Vietnam is boiled chicken, ranked 38th. According to the famous culinary website, this is an indispensable dish in Northern Vietnam during the Lunar New Year.
The chicken is cleaned, rubbed with salt, then boiled whole in water with a little ginger, onion and turmeric to make the skin yellow and shiny. The factors to evaluate a good boiled chicken are that the skin is not cracked and the meat is not bruised.
Boiled chicken is cut into pieces, covered with lemon leaves and dipped in lemon salt. Boiled chicken symbolizes abundance and prosperity and is often eaten with sticky rice.
