Four valedictorians graduated with perfect scores from the National Economics University

On August 24, the National Economics University held a regular university graduation ceremony in 2024, awarding diplomas to 3,690 new graduates. Of which, excellent graduates accounted for 38.48%, and good graduates accounted for 38.70%.

During the ceremony, the school also awarded certificates of merit to 50 valedictorians of various majors/training programs, including four valedictorians who achieved a perfect GPA of 4.0/4.0.

The four students include Nguyen Hoang Duong, from Thai Nguyen, majoring in international business; Mai Xuan Bach, from Hanoi, majoring in data science in economics and business; Nguyen Khanh Linh, from Thai Binh , majoring in international economics; and Hoang Mai Huong, from Ha Nam, majoring in auditing.

On a 10-point scale, Hoang Duong has a total score of 9.59, Xuan Bach has 9.49, Khanh Linh has 9.42, Mai Huong has 9.38.

All four valedictorians with a perfect score of 4.0 had full-time jobs in their majors before graduation.

Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong - Principal of the National Economics University, said that the special thing about this graduation class is that the students have gone through a memorable challenge when, right from the first days of school (September 2020), they "encountered" the COVID19 pandemic, fighting the pandemic with the whole country, temporarily stopping school, studying online... But all of them have overcome all difficulties and challenges, adapting to new circumstances and learning methods.

"I believe that with your learning determination, personal will and the systematic knowledge you have been equipped with at university level, you will continue to seize opportunities, overcome challenges to reach new successes, and become talented entrepreneurs, managers, and leaders of industries, localities, corporations, and socio -political organizations across the country," said Mr. Chuong.
