Bu Dop deploys the development of local tourism products

BPO - On the morning of November 27, the Steering Committee for Tourism Development of Binh Phuoc province, headed by Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Vu Thanh Ngu, inspected the implementation results of tourism development projects and the dissemination, guidance and inspection of tourist areas and spots in Bu Dop district.

Implementing the tourism development project for the period 2021-2025 and vision 2030, Bu Dop district has invested in building infrastructure, upgrading and embellishing relics and calling for investment in eco-tourism. Especially investing in traffic infrastructure connecting relic sites and ecological areas; at the same time promoting relic sites and scenic spots through websites and social networks. Bu Dop is implementing the project to develop Cu Lao Bu Dop eco-tourism resort with a scale of nearly 234 hectares, including production forest land, protective forest, and water surface. However, Bu Dop has few relic sites and tourist spots, and does not have many products to serve tourism development; calling for socialization as well as investment conditions for tourism development in the district still have many difficulties and limitations.

Speaking at the meeting, Head of the inspection team Vu Thanh Ngu said that Bu Dop does not have many advantages and strengths for tourism development. However, the district also has a project in the province's tourism development plan and has businesses participating in investment, which is the Cu Lao eco-tourism resort. This is the driving force for the district to invest in developing eco-tourism combined with developing community cultural tourism. Head of the inspection team Vu Thanh Ngu suggested that Bu Dop district pay attention to supporting investment in this tourist spot, and at the same time develop local tourism products.
