A meal of gratitude to former youth volunteers

TPO - During the months of July, to show gratitude to former youth volunteers and families with revolutionary contributions, Ha Tinh youth carried out many meaningful activities.

Responding to the peak day of activities to show gratitude to the Youth Volunteer Force (TNXP), the Youth Union chapters at all levels in Ha Tinh province simultaneously organized many meaningful activities such as: Free medical examination and medicine; giving livelihood models, cooking meaningful meals. In the photo, Ky Anh District Youth Union coordinated with the Provincial Police Youth Union and Ha Tinh City Medical Center to examine and give free medicine to 107 youth volunteers, the elderly, and policy beneficiaries.

Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union has directed the Youth Union branches to organize "Meals of Gratitude", bringing a warm and happy atmosphere when gathering around the family meal at the homes of former Youth Volunteers. This is one of the highlights in this year's gratitude activities.

The activity "Meal of Love" is a gesture showing concern and spreading the spirit of "remembering the source of drinking water" of young people through taking care of families with revolutionary contributions.

The Standing Committee of Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union said that in order to show gratitude to the Youth Volunteer Force, in recent days, Youth Union chapters across the province have organized 51 district-level activities and 192 grassroots-level activities, attracting a large number of youth union members to participate. Responding to the Peak Day of gratitude to the Youth Volunteer Force, the youth of Hong Linh town gave gifts, cooked gratitude meals, organized a bowl of love porridge program...

Recently, Ha Tinh Youth Union has coordinated to present 327 gifts worth nearly 163 million VND and presented livelihood models to families of former Youth Volunteers in difficult circumstances.

In addition, 35 programs were also organized to examine and provide free medicine to nearly 1,500 former Youth Volunteers, policy families, and people with meritorious services to the revolution.

In particular, the Youth Union organized the cooking of 76 "Meals of Love" at the homes of lonely former Youth Volunteers; provided funding to start construction of houses of love, and to renovate and repair houses for more than 56 families of former Youth Volunteers.
