Ca Mau: Health sector launches the 2nd campaign "Integrating electronic health books on VNeID application"

On the afternoon of August 26, 2025, the Department of Health held a conference to deploy the campaign "Integrating Electronic Health Book (SSKĐT) on VNeID application" in the health system in Ca Mau province. Mr. Nguyen Tan Luc, Deputy Director of the Department of Health chaired the conference. Attending the online bridge points were public and private health units in the area, along with representatives of the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order - Ca Mau Provincial Police.

Implementing Plan No. 045/KH-UBND , dated August 11, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee on deploying the Campaign "Integrating Electronic Health Book on VNeID application" in Ca Mau province (2nd time), the Department of Health issued Plan No. 112/KH-SYT to accelerate the integration of SSKĐT for local people, ensuring progress, synchronization, efficiency and achieving the set targets.

The conference aims to review the effectiveness of the campaign implementation, acknowledge the difficulties and obstacles of medical units and propose solutions. During the initial implementation period, some units still encountered many difficulties, the rate of patients using SSKĐT on the VNeID application when coming to see a doctor or get treatment is still low due to many objective reasons: not using smartphones, VNeID accounts not yet integrated with level 2, the elderly forgot their passwords...

To enhance support for people to integrate SSKĐT, at the Conference, representatives of medical facilities were presented and guided by specialized staff on operations related to integrating SSKĐT on the VNeID application; at the same time, listened to the sharing of effective ways to help people update their SSKĐT books implemented by medical centers and general hospitals.

The campaign will be implemented from August 15, 2025 to October 15, 2025. The goal is for 100% of civil servants, public employees, and workers in the health sector in Ca Mau province to integrate the Electronic Health Book on the VNeID application; at the same time, mobilize relatives to participate in the implementation; at least 40% of people when coming to medical examination and treatment facilities will be guided and supported to integrate the Electronic Health Book on the VNeID application. Thereby, increasing the efficiency and skills of using digital technology in the health system, limiting the use of traditional documents, minimizing waste and avoiding errors.

Integrating SSKĐT on the VNeID application contributes to improving the quality of health care, saving time and costs for people, and is an important step in the digital transformation roadmap of the health sector of Ca Mau province.
