Vietnamese singer Duc Phuc wins Intervision 2025 International Music Competition

According to NOMAD MGMT Vietnam (belonging to DatVietVAC Group Holdings) - the unit that selects the national representative artist to participate in the competition, and singer Duc Phuc, on the evening of September 20, at the Live Arena auditorium (Russia), the final night of the Intervision 2025 International Music Competition brought an attractive and eye-catching global music "party".

The competition took place from September 11 to 20, gathering representatives from more than 20 countries around the world , including Vietnam, China, India, Cuba, Venezuela, Egypt, South Africa, Kazakhstan, Kenya, UAE, Brazil, Tajikistan, Ethiopia, Serbia, South Africa, Kyrgyzstan, Qatar... The artists had explosive performances, bringing a multi-tonal picture of world music.

Appearing in 20th place, Duc Phuc and his dance troupe captivated the audience with the performance “Phu Dong Thien Vuong” (composer Ho Hoai Anh). Opening with the poem “Vietnamese Bamboo”: “Green bamboo, evergreen/ The story of the old days when there was a green bamboo bank…”, the performance led the audience from the image of a resilient bamboo tree to the symbol of Saint Giong riding an iron horse to fly to heaven.

The entire lighting effects, choreography with traditional bamboo and mat props were skillfully coordinated with modern rhythms. The rap in three languages, Vietnamese, English and Russian, sent a strong message: “Today we make history together.”

As a result, the Vietnamese representative won 422 points, far surpassing Kyrgyzstan (373 points) and Qatar (369 points) to become the champion.

The moment Duc Phuc and his crew hugged each other and burst into happiness, the red flag with yellow star fluttering on the giant LED screen, became the most emotional highlight of the final night.

Intervision 2025 is not only a music playground, but also a cultural forum, where 23 countries bring their own artistic colors, together proving that music is the common language of humanity. The Vietnamese representative shone with a convincing victory, contributing to affirming Vietnamese cultural identity on the international music map.
