Opening of the exhibition to celebrate the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress

On October 3, the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City held the opening ceremony of an exhibition with the theme "Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee: Confidently and firmly entering a new era, an era of national growth".

The event is part of a series of activities to welcome and serve the 1st Congress of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025-2030.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Ta Quoc Trung affirmed that the exhibition was organized in the spirit of welcoming the success of the Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

Mr. Ta Quoc Trung emphasized: The merger of Ho Chi Minh City with Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau provinces, officially put into operation from July 1, 2025, has marked a turning point in the history of urban development of the city. This merger opens up a space for comprehensive development, converging the three leading dynamic economic poles of the country, with the vision of building an "international super city". The 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee will be an opportunity to summarize and evaluate the leadership work of the 2020-2025 term, and at the same time set out goals, directions, tasks and breakthrough solutions for the new journey.

The photo exhibition will be held from October 3 to 18 at many locations such as Nguyen Hue Walking Street (Saigon Ward), Bach Dang Walking Street (Thu Dau Mot Ward), Thuy Van Square (Vung Tau Ward) and Ba Ria Square (Ba Ria Ward)...

At each location, the Organizing Committee displayed 120 photos with the main theme "Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee: Confidently and firmly entering the new era, the era of national growth". The photo collection introduces the previous Congresses of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee, and Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Party Committee.

The exhibition's content focuses on reflecting achievements in Party building, government, and mass mobilization work in the 2020-2025 period; results of organizational restructuring, promoting digital transformation, and administrative reform; along with outstanding marks in economic, cultural, and social development and implementation of breakthrough and key programs.

At the same time, on Dong Khoi Street (in front of the city's Department of Culture and Sports), 70 photos were displayed with the theme "Ho Chi Minh City: Solidarity - Dynamic - Breakthrough - Creativity", expressing the aspiration to build a civilized urban area, an economic - financial - tourism center of Asia, aiming for a position in the group of 100 global cities.

Opposite Chi Lang Park, 50 photos with the theme "Promoting cultural values ​​and people of Ho Chi Minh City to build a creative city" are also being displayed, thereby depicting the dynamic, creative, benevolent and affectionate qualities of the city's people, aiming to join the UNESCO network of creative cities.

In the area in front of the Ho Chi Minh City Museum, 10 large-scale propaganda paintings with the theme "Ho Chi Minh City firmly steps under the glorious Party flag" are displayed, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, intelligence and mettle of the Party Committee, government and people of the city.
