The delegation donated 100 million VND to support the repair and upgrading of school libraries in Tuyen Quang province. At the same time, they donated water purifiers, school uniforms, utensils, children's toys, school supplies for students and many necessities and foods such as cakes, candies, milk, instant noodles... to students, children in schools and households in difficult circumstances, affected by floods in Trung Minh commune with a total value of over 640 million VND.
Comrade Nguyen Thanh Han, Director of the Youth Social Work Center, presented support money to upgrade the library and restroom facilities at schools in Tuyen Quang.
Trung Minh is a poor commune of Yen Son district with over 98% of the population being ethnic minorities, the rate of poor and near-poor households is over 80%. During the recent flood, 74 households had their houses damaged by landslides, and 42 households were urgently evacuated. Due to the impact of rain and flood, many areas of rice and crops in the commune were damaged and lost...
