Cam Giang planted 60,000 trees

Many officials of Cam Giang district, Tan Truong commune and people participated in the 2024 spring tree planting campaign.

The district focuses on propagating and mobilizing people to continue to renovate mixed gardens and change crop structures to improve economic efficiency. Localities take advantage of the entire area of ​​traffic routes, public places, historical and cultural relics, mounds in the fields... to plant trees for timber, shade, flowers, ornamental plants and fruit trees.

Tan Truong commune alone strives to plant 5,000 trees this year, continuing to be the locality with the most trees in the district. The commune maintains and renovates flower roads in Mai Trung, Tan Ky, Trang Ky villages; completes trees in the hamlet parks in Quy Duong village...

The tree planting launching ceremony actively contributes to educating the tradition of spring tree planting and environmental protection for teenagers and children.

In 2023, Cam Giang district planted 61,000 trees, including 31,000 fruit trees and 30,000 timber trees. The district converted 23 hectares of ineffective rice cultivation land to specialized cultivation of some high-value fruit trees, flowers, ornamental plants... concentrated in the communes of Cam Van, Cam Vu, Dinh Son, Cao An.
